If you reside in Casselberry and need the assistance of a Seminole
County family law attorney or divorce lawyer... We Can Help You
Divorce, child support, child custody, and other family law related cases are usually filed in the county where both parties reside.
As you know, Casselberry is located in Seminole County, Florida. Therefore, if you and your spouse reside in Casselberry, your
Casselberry divorce, alimony, child custody, modification, visitation, child support, relocation, juvenile, or other family law
related case, would usually be filed with the Court in Seminole County.
If you reside in Casselberry and the other party resides in
another city located in Seminole County, like in the above
examples, your Casselberry family law related case would
usually still be filed with the Court in Seminole County.
But if you reside in Casselberry and the other party resides
in a city outside Seminole County, your Casselberry divorce
or other family law related case would not necessarily have
to be filed with the Seminole County Court, but could
nevertheless be filed with the Seminole County Court.

Likewise, if you are the unmarried parent of a child and you and the
other parent reside in Casselberry, your Casselberry child custody,
modification, visitation, relocation, paternity, child support, juvenile
dependency, or other family law related case, would usually be filed
with the Court in Seminole County.
But remember, it is the county of residence not the city of residence,
as noted above, which determines where a divorce or other family
law related case should be filed. And of course, for purposes of
determining where a family law case should be filed, the marital
status of the parties is not a relevant factor.

The city of Casselberry is named after its founder, Hibbard Casselberry. Casselberry, who had a mechanical
engineering degree from Yale, came to Seminole County, where his mother had a winter home, in the 1920's.
Casselberry wanted to participate in the growth of the local fern industry and Casselberry originally purchased
some acreage near Lake Orienta. After selling that land, Casselberry purchased hundreds of acres in what is
today known as Casselberry and, in 1940, incorporated the area as the town of Casselberry.
Casselberry had a vision for the development of the town and, after the end of World War II, he began building
homes in Casselberry for the returning military and for others who came to Florida at the time. Consistent with
the vision he had for Casselberry, he started Casselberry's utility system and donated land for a city hall. And,
he established Casselberry's cemetery and formed a volunteer fire department which started out with a truck
donated by his mother.
The city of Casselberry was incorporated in 1965 and today, Casselberry has a population of over twenty four
thousand residents.
